The question being asked today is what will be the future of card counters in Blackjack. are the times of counting cards done? Many would say yes.

Automated shuffling is being utilized in todays tables which makes shuffle tracking or card counting unlikely. The land based casinos are going to insert shuffling machines at the tables.

It’s believed that in places like vegas, surveillance cameras are being used to analyze the skill of the gamblers and smart chemin de fer tables that tracks gamblers hands and schemes using magnetic chips.

The Control Board in Nevada, an group that protects honest gambling has made a decision that betting houses may not change the games in a manner that would alter the frequency of the payouts. Since then, many Nevada betting houses train their croupiers to count cards and shuffle as they please, also a wide variety of casinos keeps information on card counters, including names and photos to keep them out of the game.

So what will be the future of this chemin de fer "war"? is it just beginning or will it quickly reach an end? Regardless of all their newest tech, political and monetary affects, I believe there remains a chance for a happy result. With in excess of twenty-five states in the US offering blackjack games, there are more profit possibilities for card counters than back in the olden days.
