I have played countless of hands of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of funds at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to beat the game.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this method! And a number of days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You have to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Wager $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar bet

Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10

Bet $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first $10 wager

Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20

Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet

Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager

Bet $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial one hundred and 60 dollar bet

If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is hard to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
