I have bet on millions of rounds of blackjack. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of money at blackjack. The casinos have made it almost impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this tactic or defeat the casino, nonetheless you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very thrilling at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a couple of weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you witness wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first $5 bet
Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Wager $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original $80 bet
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
