I have bet on countless of hands of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of bankroll at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get loaded with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very thrilling at times. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years back with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
