I have gambled on millions of hands of blackjack. I began working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or beat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very thrilling sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80
Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
