I have bet on millions of rounds of 21. I started working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or beat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.

Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 wager

Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager $40
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Wager $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
