I have wagered on countless of rounds of twenty-one. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of money at 21. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is founded on the fact that 21 appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a number of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this method! And a couple of months ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you notice betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.

Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10
Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 wager
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $80 wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
